Step Wise Procedures of Attestation For WES of Metric, Inter & HEC

Hello All and Thanks everybody for helping each other here!!

I have 2 questions

1. I am applying through express entry and i am going to include my wife's education. She is still completing university education in Pak so i think i will put her intermediate (HSC) as her higher education. But what is higher secondary certificate (HSC- intermediate) equivalent to in canada/ express entry profile ?the options in express entry profile are secondary diploma (high school) or 1 year program at university/college or 2 year prog at university/college ? which one should i select

2. As i will have to have her education credentials validated from WES, on WES website it says to send inter certificate directly sent from the secondary and intermediate board, i am wondering does the board directly send certificates to WES ? or they will simply hand over the certificate to us and we will have to send it ?

Put details of Matric - Intermediate - Bachelors - all of your education credentials
You have to send them marksheet and Certificate[Degree] of every academic career you have
If you miss any, you will delay your assessment

Matric Board will send your documents by themselves
Interboard will send your documents by themselves
Bachelor documents - you need to put them in HEC Sealed Envelope - HEC will do that for you and handed over to you then you have to courier them by yourself - I will recommend DHL as its fastest and reliable

WES gives you option - that if you have done Bachelors/Masters then you dont have to send Matric Documents - so it's your choice - I sent all and have my assessment in just 5 days.

I am just worried because you know secondary and inter boards services are bad and i am not sure if the docs they send ever reach WES ..Is it possible if i get sealed degree certificates from them and send it by myself ?

Guys, for my ECA, I got the envelope from BISE and couriered it myself to WES. BISE guys did not write the sender's address, and so the UPS guys insisted I write one, which I did. The handwritings for receiver and sender's addresses of course do not match now. Would this be a problem?

Hey Mish, yes I did. I only submitted them HSC and CA documents. Did not send Matriculation marksheet and transcript. Got my ECA successfully done on 23rd.

Dear Brothers,

I am stuck and i don't know what to do. I sent my documents to WES (Bachelors and Masters) couple of days before using DHL, I didn't send Matric and FSC along with above mentioned documents. Yesterday i got email from WES requiring both Matric and FSC.

I don't have mark sheet of both matric and FSC but both certificates have details of mark obtain in each subject. I have attested copies of matric and fsc from IBCC but 4 years old.

I am seeking your advise

1: Do i need mark sheets of both certificates. If yes, do i need to attest mark sheets as per IBCC process??

2: can IBCC seal the attested photocopies i have without creating any problem.

I am living abroad and my parents are living in Kashmir. For them its difficult to first go to Mipur Board and get mark sheets and apply for attestation there. once attestation done from board side, they need to come Islamabad for IBCC attestation.

Would appreciate if some brother/sister shed some light on it and answer.

I dont know if you are active on this group anymore. I am sailing the same boat as you were two years ago. Did my Matric and Inter from BISE AJK. I don't have my matric or inter marksheets anymore just the certificate with sujbect wise marks on them. I have had them attested and sealed from BISE AJK only. Do you think that should be enough and WES would accept them like that. I have only sent WES my Bachelors and MSc degrees attested by HEC so far. I was hoping they wont ask for matric and Fsc but I have had them attseted from AJK board just in case. Please do reply if you read this. Thanks.

For the first part, you need to really talk to them as HEC has updated on their website. Inshallah, this will work out.
For the second thing, not exactly sure, as I sent myself, so any other experienced member might help, who has gone through this process. Wish you all the best.

Can someone give me a confirmed answer if Matric attestation is needed for WES because in the website they only ask for "Intermediate Examination Certificate or Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)"
I have Matric from a small city so going back there for this job will be a big time hassle for me so what if I only do attestation of Intermediate (FSc) and higher education from HEC?
