guys how do you know which visa office is processing your file?

also do we get an update on email if any of the statuses changes or do we have to check everyday?

Depending on which stage you are in check every day or every week

and sometimes you don't get emails but most of the time you get emails.

p.s. sometimes you get emails when nothing has changed

Hi guys my wife applied for her pcc same day of departure from our home country,usually issue date is second day so i figured out that she can apply on her departure,but unfortunately i just discovered that issue date is the same as departure,is it ok or should i reapply again through embassy

every time you send through cse you delay you application for 2 weeks, with that in mind, do whatever you want.

If thats the case and i have time to wait,will there be an issue with waiting then submitting my application with pof being 3 weeks old.as far as the delay is concerned i have no issues as far as i dont get a rejection

Take it from someone who is waiting, the wait is bad, submit ASAP, don't update anything that doesn't need updating, besides i just remembered CSE has special cases only that you can use it for, and trust me if they need something more they will send additional documents request, submit to the best of your knowledge with what you have and if they need something they will tell you

After submitting you may get a few document requests, the email will say if it's from Cairo VO or possibly Ottawa

So how's the wait going for people who submitted? today is 5 months 6 days since my AOR, last document request (and last I heard from the CIC) was exactly 3 months ago.

And all my dealings so far have been with Ottawa VO

And I requested my first GCMS notes yesterday

Regarding the source of this information, there is no official source but I am confident that it causes a delay, but you shouldn't take my word for it, you may try if you like.


But the process is that when the personnel handling the web form for cse processes the queue and matches the EE profile, it sets the status as updating, during that time, the officer working on the EE profile suspends it and works on the next profiles until the update is done on the profile and is validated with the documents submitted


Every submission is different in every stage so what I am saying might not be true for all the cases, so My recommendation is don't use CSE unless you have to.

P.S. Questions don't delay, only updates.

No I mean that you should take a screen shot of your balances that they are still in the account at submission time, create a pdf that has everything and upload it
