For the passport Aplication form..

In Child and father application section they have ask Current home address. Do i have to mention my Current UAE home address or do i have to mention Canada Home address?

6 Declaration of Guarantor ... The guarantor must know the applicant identified in section 5.

My parents is also Canadian Citizenship... so they can be a guarantor for my Child?
Address: You need to put the address where the person is currently living, regardless of where it is.

Guarantor: If one of your parents have met the child, they can be the guarantor.

In Canadian CITIZENSHIP Form

6 Other nationalities
Are you a citizen of one or more countries other than Canada?
If yes, list the country or countries, date and how you obtained this citizenship.

Is it mandatory to mention other citizen at the moment ???
Yes, of course it's mandatory.

My parents live with me... so i was wondering if they can be guarantor?

they also said that A Canadian passport holder guarantor does not need to reside in the same country as the applicant.
Canadian parents or any adult canadian citizen can be the guarantor, provide a copy for the first page of the Guarantor passport...

but my parents live with me.. in this case what should do i do?

Thanks alot for your guide and response :)

Should i mention that my parents as a guarantor is in India or in UAE ?
My parents live here in UAE but they also said the guarantor shouldn't be the same city as applicant.. does that matter ? because they require my parents contact information to call them... so my concern is if i mention that they are in UAE they will reject the application?
What do you suggest? should i mention in application that they are here in UAE ?

Again and for the last time, one of your parents can be the guarantor. It doesn't matter where they live.

This is the part whereby CIC wants to know why you need a 2 year limited visa without waiting for a regular child passport. This is where you show proof od immediate travel plans or flight booked in close future.

Just state that you may travel to Canada soon so the child can meet family.

The application won't be able to let you type in the guarantor section. The guarantor has to complete it by hand.

Hi Everybody,

I have a question, maybe somebody can help me. I obtain my Canadian citizenship in 2015. I have a son who is living abroad and he is 15 year old. Can he become a Canadian citizen? If yes, does he need the language requirement? I have read everything from the CIC webpage but it is not clear for me if I can apply or not for him to obtain the citizenship. Or I should apply subsequently for Permanent Resident Status for him.
Please help.

Thank you for your help.
