The VO RFI replied after 3 days that the file is still awaiting review. Already applied for GCMS notes and let see the outcome of it.
I think that it is the right decision to get your GCMS note and see where your case has gotton stuck. By the way which online service did you use for requesting your GCMS notes? And what approximate time they have provided you to give copy of GCMS notes to you?

I think that most of the delay occurs because of intensive background check, specially securiy clearance is the main reason for delay. But overall process is still ambiguous. Because some people even who are residing in there in canada for past several years, their files also tooks more then a year to process.

My qualification is MBA (Marketing) from University of Karachi in 2006 and I have ECA done as "Master degree of Business Administration (Marketing)" from CES (UT).

Now my job description has match with 0113 (Purchasing manager) and also with 0111 (Financial Manager).

I work in a company as a Manager, which purchase security CCTV Cameras, DVR, Scanners & Computers and install them on client places.

So, I am confused what NOC should I used 0113 and 0111 due to the reason Employment Requirements mentioned under both NOCs.

For 0113 (Purchasing manager) Employment Requirement are:- http://www30.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=0113

A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce or economics is usually required.
Purchasing managers responsible for units purchasing specialized materials or business services may require a related degree or diploma. For example, a bachelor's degree or college diploma in engineering may be required for purchasing managers responsible for purchasing industrial products.

The designation Certified Professional Purchaser (C.P.P.) or registration in the educational program of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada may be required.
Several years of experience as a purchasing agent or officer are required.

For 0111 (Financial Manager) Employment Requirements are :- http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=0111

A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required.
A master's degree in business administration (concentration in finance), or another master's level management program may be required.
Several years of experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis or other financial activities are required.
Accounting and audit managers may require a recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA).

Please let me know that using what NOC would be correct/safe for me to Express Entry.
Matching job description is not a problem. Please advice considering Employment requirement and my Education (MBA-Marketing) under both NOCs.

Dear,

Only mentioning your job title (Manager) is not enough to answer your question. You should specify what you are doing in that company, e.g. you are responsible for procurement of those devices, are an account manager or you are handling the accounting and reconciliation tasks, etc…….

My personal opinion is that under 0111 should apply those who are working in financial oriented occupations like analysts, financial reporting officers, investment specialist, accountants, CFOs etc…

If your duties are more general-administrative and you are not spending your whole day with “debits and credits” than you should go for 0113.

Also note that your job duties does not need to be 100% identical with HRSDC requirements, 60-70% matching will be enough. So, you may simply choose the noc that has higher matching percentage.

Education (name of your degree) in your case is not that important.

Please also help regarding my spouse case!
She work in an insurance company as a Manager and her work is related with Insurance underwriting & claims and other insurance operations that comes under NOC 0121 (Insurance, real estate and financial brokerage managers).
We done with her ECA as "4 years bachelor degree in Information Technology", although she also has professional education in Insurance like FLMI and DipCII designations but we did not included this in ECA (from CES,UT).
As per matching with ECA education her job description comes under NOC 2172 or 2173, which also give her Skill Transferability points =50.

So to which NOC we should go for 0121 or 2172/2173.
Job description showing and verifying doesn't matter.

Hi All,

I received my passport back after stamping around 2 weeks back.
I've been searching for jobs online and i can see that there are lot of openings that match my profile.
I've been applying to jobs since last 1 month (some of them through referral) but havent received even 1 reply, even though the job matches my profile perfectly.

I'm now thinking of approaching some recruitment agency. What do you guys suggest?
Any possibility of landing a job in Canada while still staying in Dubai?

I've already done Six Sigma and APICS CPIM certifications.

Today when I have viewed my Linkedin profile, I have noted that two persons from CIC have viewed my profile.

Let us pray that it will be a positive sign and they might be verifying my details these days and my file will not be waiting in a que for a visa officer who will come at an unknown time to review all the pending PR applications.
