I've mailed my child's application to the different office on April 27 and I haven't seen a CC charge yet either.

Very tight on timelines with only 5 business days until we depart, but I am hopeful, based on all of your stories, that we might still be able to pull this off. Waiting now to get phone calls to be able to get urgent processing.
Not sure how long to wait until we go into the office in person to try to move the process along. A big part of me wants to be there first thing Monday morning, but that is probably too soon. The other part says wait until Wednesday, the last possible day for us to have them process in time to pick up on Friday for departure on Saturday.

Just an update, called the toll free line again today to check on status. Bit more of an issue as it took 83 calls today and just about an hour on hold, but they did confirm that the file has been transferred to Edmonton and is currently "under examination" and there are no notes to indicate that there is any problems with them, so they suggested that I should be able to go in on Thursday to pick them up. Again, no promises, but reassurance that everything is going as it should be. Fingers crossed, we will be to travel on Saturday

I think I got lucky because my file was Sent to Gatineau but got transferred to Surrey Bc. They told me they're sending applications to offices that have extra capacity because the Gatineau office is extremely overloaded. I hope you get your child's soon!

On your transaction do they say service Canada (location)

Getting worried now. Flight is on 26th June. I asked for a transfer last week to Toronto Location.
Still haven't got the call, after calling the passport office general number they said the application is in process of transfer and wait for their call.
How long should I wait for the call Or should I just go to the office tomorrow and stand in the line? What time do they usually call from Toronto Office? I asked them only proof of travel is okay.
If they can see my application and know that it is in a system , should I take another application? I don't have guarantor's signature in another form. Only the pictures I have.
Sorry just so stressed out.

I can totally feel you...Other than just waiting for the call, maybe you can contact your MP to ask them to check with the passport office urgently? Not sure if it helps but it doesn't hurt anyway...

I called 5 times and 5 times they told me your passport application is under review can anyone tell me what does under review mean?
Application received by passport office on April 6, 2022
Cc charged on May 04,2022
I called today still under review.

I call in today and was told my child application is in examination and was a note saying my credit card was declind. However I did update my CC info early June cause I lost the card after mail out the application. I was charge after I update my CC information but I call the main line, everything is ok but just a CC problem. I told them I did update my CC so he put a note in my file but ask me if I can update my CC info tmr by calling payment line.

Anyone have this problem before?

Good morning, would appreciate your feedback if someone had the same situation I am in now.

I mailed my family’s passport applications (wife & 2 children) but then realized that I have forgot to include my wife’s driver’s licence copy as an ID verification, it’s been 6 weeks now since the applications received by the passport office in Gatineau, no credit card charged and can’t reach them over the phone, they’re not replying to our application status request sent through the web form, would they decline the application and send it back? If yes when? I am concerned about the citizenship certificates as I sent the originals, if they’re lost then it will be a nightmare to get new ones, would appreciate if someone can advise.
