Hi, I work for Canadian company as a skilled carpenter and my YP visa has expired, before that happened, I sent an extension by post to the government. I needed to get an extra couple of months in order to finish my application for BCPNP. My score is 80 points now and so I am waiting for an invitation.
The problem is that I still did not receive an answer about my extension and until that I can't do pretty much anything..It has been already 82 days since I sent it.
I would like to take one of the Co-op programs in Vancouver and stay here as a student for a while, basically until I get the invitation, the second scenario could be visitors visa.
My question is. What should I do if I won't receive any answer from the government within 90 days?
Can I apply for study permit thru my college now?
Can I apply online for visitor visa now?
What should i do?
