Years admitted into Canada?

In a legal document I am filling out it asks me to fill in the year I was admitted into Canada and I am confused by this question. My father was canadian before I was born so I am a citizen by descent. Do I fill in the year I was born for this question, the year I got my canadian citizenship card, or the year that I first traveled to Canada?

I am filling out a possession and acquisition application (PAL), used to purchase firearms and ammunition.

The question has to be filled out by anyone that was not born in Canada, I was born in Taipei. so I am quite lost here.

I would put in the year that I moved to Canada permanently.
