My friend recently received an ITA under the Healthcare and Social Services category. His qualifying Canadian work experience was from three years ago, and he barely met the requirement since this category only requires a minimum of six months—he has 10 months total. He also qualifies under the CEC because he has more than one year of skilled work experience in another TEER 2 role.

However, there is a major concern: the NOC code used in his profile appears to be incorrect. Although his actual duties still fall under a TEER 2 occupation, the NOC he chose does not accurately reflect the work he performed. After reviewing his job duties in detail, it seems clear that the NOC code should be corrected.

The challenge is that if he declines this ITA, it is highly unlikely he will be invited again under this category-based draw. Given this situation, what would be the best course of action?

So what NOC did her include in his profile for the Health draw and what NOC does he want to change it to. Still an eligible NOC?
