wrong NOC applied in 2006. posibility to change??will it affect ??

pl.guide me.
i have applied file in old system in 2006 but one mistake was happen that wrong NOC code mentioned while all main duties are ok as per my work profile.
is it adivsable to send letter to new delhi office, canda embassy regarding NOC correction...???
will it consider positive or negative impact for processing???

Yes, inform CIC by a covering letter that you provided with a wrong NOC code in 2006. Later you realised that Your NOC code must be....And that is why you are providing CIC with your new NOC code.If job duties are changed or remain same also let them know.
