I had applied for TRV after I got my PGWP approved. I just received my passport yesterday and it says Visitor(V-1) in category instead of Worker(W-1). Is this a mistake from CIC? What should I do next?

If you applied for a TRV, What did you select in the form?

Hello Legalfalcon,
I had selected returning worker in my application. I have gone through my application more than 4 times and confirmed that I have filed it as a worker and not as a visitor.

@legalfalcon : I also applied as a returning worker. I reviewed my application, I have mentioned "Work" as my answer in 'What do you want to do in Canada' and also provided my valid BOWP. My husband provided the same details as I provided, and his category is W-1 but mine came as V-1.

It does not matter as long as you have a work permit and job offer letter. The visa is only used to enter Canada.
