wrong amount of processing fee

Is there a significant delay of processing a regular tourist visa to go to Canada when we send a wrong amount of fee? My mom in law send the wrong fee. She is from the Philippines. If yes, how many days should we wait for the result after resending the correct amount.

i read that they will classify such case as an incomplete application. usually they will return it in a week as they won't be processing it.
