I just checked my USPS update and it says:

Your item could not be delivered on March 16, 2015 at 11:07 am in CANADA due to an incorrect address. The addressee's address is being verified.

The address I put on the package was (for courier):

CIC
Case Processing Center
2 Robert Speck Parkway Suite 300
MISSISSAUGA, ON, L4Z-1H8
CANADA

Was that wrong somehow? Who do I call to get this fixed so it doesn't get sent back to me?

Here is the correct address

CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

I think you may have to restart over and mail your package all over again. Or just wait for USPS to send you back your package and resend it again

Sorry :-/

Isn't there someone I can call? This is beyond frustrating, I don't want to wait another week or two just to send it off again. Plus I thought I was using a courier? And that was the "Courier" address provided on the CIC website.

To be honest I dont know... USPS still has your mail in its possession right? If yes then im afraid you cant call and may have to re start the whole process again. Or perhaps someone else can give you better guidance. Idk

That is the right address if you are applying outland and are using a courier. The system just may be down . They haven't returned your application.

Then why has it said it wasn't able to be delivered due to a wrong address?

It's probably because you used the USPS instead of an actual courier (FedEx, UPS, etc.).

Even though the USPS has a priority service, it's not the same as a true courier...I guess?!

That i can't answer . Call UPS and give them your tracking number and see where it is . I know when i used Canada for some other documents for CIC it said undelivered, Until this day it says undelivered, but it was . Not good enough i know.

We ALL know how bad Canada Post is in updating their tracking information, but I think this is a different problem.

The message from USPS (not much better than CP, IMHO) is that the item could not be delivered, due to a bad address.

Since it's at the same place, is there any way I can just call and have it redirected? What number would I be able to call to maybe ask about having it redirected? I'm having a complete panic attack thinking I'll either have to wait an extra week and a half to send it or I won't get it back.

yes, i would agree with this. the USPS CAN deliver to a PO box. the courier address is for those companies that CAN'T deliver to po boxes (fedex, ups, dhl, etc).

for usps, i would think you would need to use the normal address. at this point, my guess is either you need to wait for it to be returned to you, or you can try calling USPS and see if they will redirect it for you to the correct address.

I tried calling, and they said since it was International and in Canada, there was nothing they could do. That's why I'm trying to find a number or something I can call, but I don't know who to call.

Where was it sent from?

If it was first handled by the USPS, calling them probably won't help you at all because it's now in the hands of Canada Post. CP delivers all mail that originated with the USPS...even the express/priority mail.

Unfortunately, I don't know if CP can [legally] do anything other than to return it to the sender, since it is international mail that undoubtedly has all sorts of rules and regulations regarding delivery and/or non-delivery. Calling CP might be a complete waste of your time, but I guess it's worth a try.

Hi, I have the same problem as what you had last time, how did you fix this problem? did you resend a new application or it was delivered?

Thanks,
