Hi, we just received the Medical Request from IRCC. However, upon checking, I noticed that in my IMM 1017 E, they encoded my OLD address, when in fact, in my application forms, I have already placed my new address. I figured they must have made a mistake since the OLD address was what I used when I applied for a temporary resident visa years ago.

I checked the ECAS and my NEW address was registered therein so I think they have my right address, it's just the form that's the exception.

Question --

1. Can I proceed with my medical examinations with the wrong info in my form?
2. If NOT, how do we contact IRCC? We tried the Webform, but all they send back are templated replies and we are going nowhere.

You could also contact IRCC through phone - 1-888-242-2100.......keep in mind you have 30 days.....

Thanks, Wakki. We already contacted them and was told that the address and phone number are immaterial, as long as the UCI no and IME no are correct.

Thank you for posting this due to biometrics my wife and kids are forced to go back to their home country since we received the medical request simotaniously she is having it done here in Norway and the new address and phone number is not correct in the IMM1017E form. Ive filled out a webform to inform the local VAC of the address and contact number changes so fingers crossed i guess. Appointment is tuesday.

Hi,

I am in the process of getting my spouse added in my PR Application (which was initiated before our marriage). I had submitted all his documents and have reached the step where they are asking for his medical examination, I have two concerns here:

1. His address mentioned in IMM1017E is incorrect (it shows my previous address which got changed after marriage), I had submitted the required forms with his current address along with his PCC and passport however, it still shows my address. Should I still proceed with his medical?

2. I had got my medical done while submitting my application before marriage which has now expired, should I get my medical done again? I have not received IMM1017E for myself though.

Please advise.

For reference for everyone. You can still go ahead and get Medicals and Biometrics done if the address isn’t updated to your most recent one, but make sure you contact IRCC and update to the proper address ASAP as it will affect your PPR request and where it needs to be sent. If you don’t it can delay the process and it’s a major headache to contact them and get it changed. Trust me on that one.

i got worng date birth on my every form i got and we trying to get it fixed
you better call them and do the webform just like we did
hope all the best for u

Thanks for your response.
I have posted a query using webform about the mismatch in address. Also, I am going ahead with the Medical examination for my spouse as suggested.

Two question here :
1. Since I recently submitted the Generic Application form (IMM 0008) with all the additional information (including my new address) required for processing my application further (post marriage), could there be a possibility that they have not processed that information yet and hence the address is not updated (its reflecting my address before marriage).

2. My old address, that is being reflected on my Spouse's application is also operational. Should we still be worried to get it updated when we reach PPR.

Thanks,
Sakshi
