Hi all,

Apologies if this has already been asked. I tried searching for it, unsuccessfully.

On the CIC website it is stated that You must prove your ability in English OR French to qualify for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class. You must prove your proficiency in your first official language only.

Being fluent in both, I was wondering if I would receive a greater number of points for writing in both languages.

I intend to apply under Canadian Experience Class, in Ontario.

Thank you.

CEC class does not have a point system, it is strictly pass-fail (you either meet the requirements, or you don't). There would be no benefit to doing both.
