Hi,

1. I need to submit application to extend my WP.
Do I need to submit an additional application to extend the temp resident permit along with it?

Thank you

You are not out of status now? Are you eligible to extend your work permit?

No my work permit expires next year and the TRV a bit earlier than that.
I have not checked my eligibility yet as (1) I don't know how and (2) working parameters are same ( same company, same position and LMIA exempt via C11)

You seem to be trying to be considered as self-employed but also wanting to count your work experience as not self-employed under CEC.

I didn't understand. How can I factor this for my WP extension. Will be grateful if you can guide me

I understand.
I am on C11 but do qualify for FSWP. However, the ITA specified CEC. This I believe is the standard communication by IRCC to mention CEC if a candidate qualifies for more than one class.( I'll post the link below).

As there is no way in the PR application to specify the class I need to apply under, and that I had to mention my canadian experience in the application so as not to misrepresent, IRCC either needs to process it under FSWP ir ask me to clarify and shift my application to FSWP.

Can I be eligible for more than one program under Express Entry?
Yes. Depending on the information in your profile, you may be eligible for more than one program through Express Entry.
In that case, you will be invited to apply for one program based on this order:
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC),
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), then
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
For example:
  • If you met the criteria for all three programs, the system would send you an invitation to apply for the CEC.
  • If you met the criteria for CEC and FSWP, you would also get an invitation to apply under the CEC.
  • If you met the criteria for FSWP and FSTP, you would get an invitation to apply under FSWP.
You can’t choose which program you are invited to apply for. The system will sort profiles based on the information you enter.
If you decline the invitation, the system will not re-invite you under the next program. You will go back in the pool, and if
