Hi,
I'm going to apply for my sister's study permit soon as she got accepted in a university in Canada.
For the financial documents, I'm going to attach the following:-
1) Father bank letter where it mentions that his current account holds around 47k CAD, in local currency. The reason why I'm not adding his bank statement is because the money was recently added since his money is in the market and the bank statement seems sketchy as if he borrowed the money.
2) Mother bank statement from October to the day of application where the opening has about 40k CAD and the closing has about 28k CAD, in local currency.
3) Mother's factory registration
4) Mother's investments certificates with value of 160k CAD, in local currency, generating 15% annually. (24k CAD in returns every year)
Now the issue is, when I applied for a TRV for him recently, it got rejected saying insufficient funds, that's because his bank statement did not have a big amount as I thought that simply including my letter of employment in Canada in his application would be enough, but it turned on him.
I graduated in Canada in 2018 and I'm employed in Montreal with a base salary over 100k CAD a year, would mentioning this or adding my letter of employment in Canada affect my sister's application because they may think she will depend/rely on me for the financial expenses? Or it could be okay as a "supporting document"?
I'm asking because I'm worried that they reject the father letter from the bank because they would need a bank statement more and they would also reject the closing balance of my mother's bank account 28k which seems to be low for the 1st year tuitions + living expenses.
Note that for the CAQ, it is mentioned that for financial proof I can attach a letter from the bank, similar to express entry, but that's not the case with study permit which makes me worried.
Thanks in advance.
