Would I qualify to apply for PR?

I got accepted into Centennial college with advance standing. Which means i'll only be spending one year at college, and will probably just get a year of PGWP. Would I qualify to apply for PR after that? Or would getting into a 2 year program for a 2 year PGWP be a better/safer idea?

2 years is far safer. You will get a 3 year PGWP if you take a 2 year program.

Canadian education and/or Canadian work experience alone would not qualify you for PR, but it may help you to gain additional CRS points in EE or/and to get PNP nomination.
