Hey all,

So, I'm currently living in Canada on the six month visitor visa. It will end on January 1st. I work as a freelancer from home, but since I don't work with any Canadian companies this is all good and I don't need a working visa.

I've heard that you can extend the visa another six months, and I'd love to do so. It has been great hiking and biking in my spare time, and I'd like to stay for another six months so I could take advantage of the ski season. Does anyone know if this would be a good enough reason to seek an extension? I've seen other people say they've been here for years just doing the same thing.

Thanks for reading!

Oh, I'm 29 years old and hold a UK passport.

I also want to know on it.

Hello,
Sorry I have no idea if the Visitor Visa Extension can be applied for extending an ETA... Couldn't find information on the CIC website also. Maybe another member here can help you out..
