For me....writing was difficult.. :D. Good scoring can be made in Speaking. Listening becomes slightly difficult as it progresses but not a big issue..

For me it was like this:

writing - difficult

speaking, reading - less difficult

listening - easy

thanks guys for your feedback. i only need 12 in ielts. so i am thinking to concentrate on two parts to get 4 each. rest if i score 2 each i will be ok.

what about reading. what was your score buddy

IELTS looks very difficult but in reality its not that difficult just download Cambridge handbooks and complete tests.
you will get decent score. I got 7.

Mine, the speaking was the most difficult... I don't know the question well and I was not familiar with the topic the examiner asked/gave me..

The easiest was the reading.. I had fun doing the reading test and I scored highest here.

I was really worried for my speaking, but he was kind enough to give me the required score. My score:

L=7.5
R=8.5
W=7.5
S=6.5 .. I jumped when I saw this one... :P

thats really nice. can you tell me buddy where are you from and are you a native speaker or not. did you prepare for ielts? i am a non native speaker. listening is difficult for me but i am good in writing and i can also speak well. i have zero preparation and i am sitting in test next week. what you recommend for me??

many thanks

I am a Filipino but I took the test in Qatar since I am working here.

You need to practice buddy. I recommend cambridge 5-7. If dont have them, I think you can download it from the internet. It is more than enough and 1 week of serious studying and preparation is enough. There are tips in Listening you need to know becuase it becomes more difficult as the test progresses. In writing, there is a preferred structure how to write especially the essay. You need to atleast familiarize yourself about it..

Practice is very important. ;D

hi wxyz! :) know what? i can say that the listening and reading part really depends on your practice and your concentration during the actual exam. the writing would depend on the topic and how much you know about it to expound more and set examples and personal experiences. for speaking, depends on your confidence and the attitude of the interviewer. some of my friends had a not so good experience with their interviewers while others were happy and satisfied with the way the interviewers questioned them.

so my advise would be, practice the listening and reading as often as you can and develop your writing skills. build your confidence for speaking and never forget to take a deep breath, maintain eye contact and smile of course though your knees maybe shaking. ;D

my score? listening and reading - 8, writing - 7 and speaking - 7.5

good luck and stay focused..... ;)
