I have been reading a lot on the forum and notice that those who are waiting a very long time for their PPR (18+ months) have had to have additional security checks.
My husband, who is the main applicant, has a no live trace on his UK PCC. He was cautioned for minor assault in 2009.
I also worked in a government position for a year during a work placement at university. (Not in actual government but for the civil service as an IT placement student). Does this count as government work?
I feel like both of these are going to add to our file needing additional security checks.
What are the possibilities of our profile exceeding the 6 months?
We are CEC Inland and I submitted the application May 12th and received AOR on the same.
