Hi all,

If you are student in canada and you have found a job, can you work with another persons off campus work permit without being detected?
 
If the employer matches your name on the passport with the name in the work permit, then you won't be and if s/he reported it to the authority, you are in trouble.

However there are people who pays less, gives hard cash and do not care about work permits, i.e. supports illegal workers, in those cases, yes you can.

My suggestion: Do you do it, if you get caught, it will be a red mark on all your further documentations of student visa as well as PR applications.

Not just a "red mark" it can result in a removal order.

Yes do that, no one can stop you. Make sure you file for the taxes and split the bounty accordingly. If you are caught its one way ticket back to Land of Lion King

If you marry a native canadian does this give you a right to apply for work permit even if you still on student visa?

no, in that case, you have to change your student visa to spousal visa first, then you can work.

By the way, you are able to work legally for 20 hours a week during school time and full time during vacations with student visa.

The 20 hrs you mentioned inlcudes on campus jobs or off campus.Because i know on campus jobs dont require work permit.
