Working while studying

Hi Everyone,
I have done a Master's degree of 3 years from my home country which included 3 years of teaching as a teaching assistant. I got paid for that as a stipend. After completion of the degree, I got promoted to Assistant professor. Would work experience as a teaching assistant be considered (will I be getting points for it)?
