Working on H1b and H4EAD in USA but staying in Windsor

Hi Guys,
I wanted to get some suggestions around my situation. We have Canadian PR and working on H1b and my spouse is on H4EAD (remote job) in the US.

I wanted to know if anyone is in similar situation I.e. living in Windsor area to keep the PR valid and One person on the H1b commuting to Michigan for work and H4-EAD working remotely from Windsor and making occasional(once/twice per month) trips to US.
There is no clear rule regarding H4EAD working remotely outside of US as of now.

Please suggest.

What we know is that H4 is for US residents hence you cant renew EAD.
You can work outside of US without EAD as long as the company is ok to pay you - just like any offshore work. People outside US are on payroll for many big companies and they can officially recruit from outside and keep payroll running for non residents of US.
