I just secured a job and the employers asked me to bring in my PR card and SIN card. Will there be any potential problems due to the fact that it expired over a year ago? I will be completing 730 days in a few weeks and will apply for a new PR card then. If it helps, my SIN card does not have an expiration date on it.

To show that you are authorized to work in Canada, you can show you COPR form instead of you PR card. It is never a requirement that a PR provides his/her PR card to show legibility to work in Canada, it is only one of the options.
