Hi there,

I have been referring to IRCC official website and I found that the information is contradicting. Could you please help me to clarify whether I am eligible to work more than 20 hours if I have applied to study permit extension in January 2023.

Following link says that student who've submitted their initial or extension for study permit on or before October 7, 2022. They're eligible to work more than 20 hours off campus.

Following link says that student who've submitted their initial or extension for study permit between October 8, 2022 to December 7, 2023. They're eligible to work more than 20 hours off campus.

As well as in this IRCC newsroom, it is clearly said that students who're already in Canada and applied for study permit before December 7, 2023 are allowed to more than 20 hours off campus.

Any help or direct answer would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
