My husband is awaiting his permanent resident status and his work permit. He is a musician/animator/commercial artist and we were wondering, can he accept contracts or payment for work performed for International clients? For example, can he work for and get paid by a U.S. based business while waiting for his Canadian work permit? Or receive royalties for his music from Online music sources based outside of Canada?
