Working in US on H1B and moving to Canada in Sep 2010 on a Work Permit

I am in Colorado and moving to Canada. I need to know the following:

1. I plan to drive my Car with my family from Colorado to Toronto, ON. My wife and I will be on Work Permit. I need to know what documentation is required to enter my car into Canada. What are the insurance requirements.

2. Once entered into Canada, how long I can drive with the Colorado plate.

if u have US license and do not plan to xfer to canada license then u dont have to have Canadian plates

else if you get Canada license then you have 60 days
