Hi

I am looking for some guidance in my scenario. I got PR through Ontario PNP. I landed in Canada in June 2018. I came back immediately to US where I am currently employed on H1B. My employer has office in Montreal and my team sits there so it should be easy for me to get a transfer to Montreal. I am wondering about following now

1. Considering that I got PR from Ontario will there be an issue if I accept job offer from Quebec
2. Will Quebec have any objection to this or will there be a separate process before I can accept job offer in quebec
3. If I reside in Ontario and work for my bank office in Montreal does that make the situation better
4. What issues I can potentially run into because of the fact that I landed and have not come back to Canada since June 2018

There are no issues with your situation. You can work and live wherever you want to in Canada. To keep your PR status, you must live in Canada for 2 out of every 5 years.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I hear about proving your intention that you tried to stay in the province. In what situation that is applicable.
