Hello Everyone,
I am a postdoctoral fellow working in Quebec since last 1.5 years. As I have no intention to reside in Quebec province, I want to apply for federal PR under CEC. My question is if I receive PR, do I need to quit my fellowship immediately and move to the province of the choice I opted during PR application? Need help

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If you're a PR you're free to reside wherever you please.

The issue here is whether you'll be able to obtain PR in the first place.

Thank you for everyone for your replies!! I thought about it. Reason being, I am doing a fellowship which is not a permanent job, my husband has a job in BC and I do not speak French which is the most important thing to work in Quebec. The career which I want to pursue in future has more scope in english part of Canada. Does that make sense?
