Working hours based on the permits

Hi Everyone, I hope you all are doing great.
I do have question about the working hours limitations based on my permits.
I do have study permit and I’ve claimed refugee protection based on risks in my home country. I do want to continue my Study and now I have two and four years work permits as well. Is it legal to work more than 24 hours per week during the academic semesters based my work permit? If so, could this affect my refugee application?

Typically once you claim asylum your other permit gets cancelled. Believe you need to reapply for a study permit if you want to study.
