Hey guys, I'm trying to file my tax return for 2011, having worked the whole year in Canada. From what I've been told, as a non-citizen on a temporary visa (I'm from the UK) I can claim back all my tax. However, after attempting to file on Ufile.ca it seems to think I cannot claim it back. I'm just wondering what the rules are, I can't seem to find them online. I earnt just over $25,000.
Is there a threshold amount (CAN$) below which you can claim; above which you can not?
Can we claim back our Pension Contributions (CPP)?
Please help if you have any idea!
