Working Holiday Visa- needing to explore options

Hi there, I am a New Zealand citizen and I am planning to head to Canada in July 2019 as I just got approved for my Working Holiday Visa.

My Visa expires next year in May 2020.

My fiancé is a Canadian Citizen and we are planning to get married in Canada shortly after I arrive.

When should I and can I apply for PR? Or spouse sponsorship?

Given my visa expires in 2020, is it okay for me to renew it earlier?

Your fiance will be able to sponsor you for PR once you are married through the spousal sponsorship program. Recommend you join the Family Sponsorship section of the forum for discussions on this topic.

I'm not sure what you mean by extending your visa earlier.

So just to clarify you intend to initially land in Canada July 2019 which will mean as a NZ citizen your IEC work permit would be issued for upto 23 months from that date assuming you show 23 months travel insurance and 2500 CDN.

So not sure what you mean it expires in 5/2020 unless you already landed previously which contradicts your statement that you only just got the approval. Usually IEC approvals are issued with an arrive by date within 12 months of issue so 5/2020 makes no sense.

As IEC work permit cannot be renewed or extended by the way.
