Hi all,

Wish you all having a great weekend. I have one specific question, some help would be much appreciated.

Last year was studying my Master Program in the mean time I was also working full time externally in one accounting firm. I had both study permit and PGWP. Queen's U offers courses during the night and weekend which allows me to work regularly in the day. The master program was legally stated as a Full-time program which was designed for people want to pursue studying and keep working.

So folks, so the working experience during Full-time study count for EE? I understand CIC says it doesn't count, but for my job I was paying my taxes, EI, have pay stabs, ROE, T4 everything. It still apply in this situation?

I filled in EE application Work History tab as follow:

* Are you working legally in Canada during this time?
Yes.
* Studying full-time doing this job?
Yes.

By doing that and with my rest working experience less than one year, the message shows me that I'm not eligible. But by selecting 'No' would admit me filling untruthful information, I don't want get into any trouble for this.

Any idea and advice?

Thanks guys,
Victor

Any work experience during full time studies in Canada does not count towards work experience calculation.

In his case, is it possible to apply via FSW??
Do you have work experience outside Canada? If so you can apply for FSW , if not you cannot apply under this category. You need to gain work experience inside Canada in your work permit and apply under CEC

Thanks for your reply. I have work experience within Canada, but I don't know how to claim and file in EE system.

As he mentioned,
""I filled in EE application Work History tab as follow:

* Studying full-time doing this job? question, does he need to respond no in order to go under CEC??

You have to answer that question as no provided you were not in your study permit while working. If you were on the study permit that work experience cannot be considered
