Hi all, I have been working for an employer from United States by remotely past couple of years. Also, I stayed in U.S for 8 years and got my B.Sc and M.Sc. I worked in U.S also for 3 years. Does working remotely count towards work experience when I apply for express entry? I am not an U.S citizen and currently living out-side of U.S.

Thanks

As long as you had an employer/employee relationship and were paid for your work. Even if you were considered self employed, but could document that work, it qualifies as work experience.

Thank-you actually I can get an experience letter from my employer. His company has registered under LLC in U.S. Do you think that would be enough?

As I checked in Saskatchewan SINP, the work experience requirement it was mentioned that I need to provide at least a Government issued document for employment proof. But I don't have one. What shall I do? So, people who do Freelance work can't add as a employment proof?
