Working during break period in courses

I have completed my first one year course and graduated in Oct 2023 and then enrolled for Second one year course for March 2024 intake which falls under 150 days. During the break period I worked full time and also applied for Community recommendation. I received the recommendation letter and now I am planning to withdraw from the second one year course and apply for my PGWP. Will this impact my status in Canada in any way because I worked full time during the break period and now withdrawing from the course. Can I apply for my PGWP now with no issues and then apply for PR.

Not studying will get you into trouble. You can apply for a PGWP but have to leave Canada and stop working. Since you didn’t start your second program, your study permit is not longer valid as of 90 days after graduation. Therefore you have been without status since January. You needed to restore status within 90 days and apply for PGWP. However because you are now out of status you cannot restore status from inside Canada.

What if I enroll for the course and then I withdraw after the first semester and then apply for PGWP will that sort this issue for me?

But you wouldn’t be eligible for PGWP if beyond 180 days. You are trying to scam the system.

To spell it out, if you graduate in Oct 2023, you need to apply PGWP before 6 months after your graduation.
You are trying to game the system.
