Working after your wp and sin expire

I was talking to my friend and he tells me that in theory its possible to use expired sin for work after your working permit has expired ? Im not looking for an advice just asking around . Do people do that work with expired sin and pay taxes and fly under the radar for the long time?

yes u can work if your sin expired granted that you applied an extension before your permit expired.

Note that IEC and PGWP are not extendable, so you have to stop work immediately if you are on one of those.
