Hi. I'm a live-in caregiver here in Calgary.
I just wish to know if I'd have a problem when I leave Canada for a 2-month vacation to my home country.
I already applied for my permanent resident status here in Canada, and I was already approved in principle.
I already have an Open work permit valid til December of 2016.
I have a valid multiple entry Temporary resident visa, which will expire on the same date as my open work permit.
Would I have any issues coming back to Canada?
What document can help me re-enter without a problem?
Pleas Help. :(

There should be issues in returning back after a vacation.
- You have a valid visa (multiple entry) which can be used to re-enter the country.
- You have valid worker status as shown by your open work permit.

Given that a 2month vacation is something not common - if you are currently employed, get a letter from your employer stating you will be on vacation and will be returning afterwards to resume your employment. It is not mandatory, but in some rare cases, CBSA officers may ask questions or additional proof of the state of employment of a returning worker with an OWP. This letter serves to support your reasons for returning to Canada after your vacation- think of it as precaution - use only when needed.
