I'm an international student and came to Canada in Apr 2023. Ofcourse with job crunches I wasn't able to find anything and as last resort joined Uber delivery for having some money to survive. My actual earning time (delivery time) is less than 20 hours, however my login time is 26 hours for one week and during Canada day week due to holidays I logged in 53 hours (delivery time (earning time) still under 20 hours). I worked only 2 weeks in last 2 months and earnings are less then 650$. I asked support team multiple times about how the hours are reported and what is my working hours and they informed me that my idle time (waiting for the order) is not my working time. Yet asking friends and others around it got me confused. People keep saying it'll affect my pgwp since staying online is also part of working hours regardless if I'm earning or not. Can anyone please help in understanding if I'm made any mistake? I've currently stopped using the delivery with nothing on hand, but it's making me nervous as if I've violated my visa permit.
