Hi Everyone,

I need a suggestion if anyone came across the same situation. So I am currently an international student. I have attained my co-op which is about to end soon. However, my co-op employer wanted me to turn into a full-time employee. Now, the thing is I can work 40 hrs with them until Dec, because of the flexibility of removal of capping in working hours for International students as of now. But my studies will be finished next March and I am not sure the hours I will be eligible for after Dec (likely which I am assuming will be back to 20 hrs.) but just for 3 months, is there a way I can check with officials if I can work or is there a way to deal with this situation. My employer is ready to offer me but seeking my assurance for the three months. Regardless to say, I do not want to lose this opportunity. Does anyone came across this situation or know a way to approach it? TIA

You can only work full time if the government continues to allow full time employment. It may not be announced until the fall or close to the end of the year. Or not announced at all.
