work visa, medical exam and getting a job

HI
My work visa has been approved and I am trying to look for work before I arrive in Canada
BUT
some of the childcare jobs I have wanted to apply for require a medical as part of the visa and I wasn't aware until now that I needed to have one done :-X
Does anyone know if it is possible to send CIC a medical and they can change it on my visa or should I just get one later and send it separately direct to employers if they want it?
If I cant get a job before I go, should I get a medical done here in Australia first or just wait and get one done over there if needed?
Thanks for help... I am so not good at the organisation side of things.. I just wanna be over there already!

Hi

I'm guessing IEC? If so, you will need to first come to Canada, have the medical and then apply to CIC to change the conditions of your work permit. Your application to change conditions must be approved prior to actually starting any childcare jobs, otherwise you are violating the terms of your permit.
