Hi. My father started a Family Sponsorship for get me a PR. And I was wondering, while PR application process can I get a work permit to work in Canada? Because I think I have to be in Canada for a while (like 2 years or something) to get my PR. And meanwhile I would like to work in Canada to getting used to enivroment, improve my English. (I don't want to spend my time to nothing in these 2 years)

And also I would like to ask that. Can I be a sponsor to someone after I get my PR from the country that I live in? Or in PR process? Thank you for your time!

No you can’t get a work permit. Since you are under 22, you can look at going to university or college and applying for a study permit while waiting for PR.

You can’t sponsor someone while waiting for PR.

Thank you for your answer. And do you know how much do I have to stay in Canada while I wait for my PR?

No I mean shouldn't I have to stay for a while in Canada to get my PR? How PR proccess works? Should I have to be in my current country? I am coming with my Family Sponsorship.

How old are you? When did your father start the process? You can’t enter Canada unless you have a visitor or study visa. Do you have a visitor visa? If not, getting one is difficult if you have PR processing underwaY.

You don't need to remain in Canada.

You don't qualify for a work permit.
