You need a job offer from an employer in Canada and an approved LMIA to qualify for a work permit. There are no jobs on this forum. You will need to apply for jobs through job forums like indeed and linkedin.

Hi,
I am now under visitor status, and waiting for my PR through Quebec Skilled Worker Class.
I would get the postdoc job offer in a month.
Just a quick question:
Can I go to US border to receive my work permit, instead of waiting almost 72 days through online process? Is there any way to receive my work permit sooner?
