hi

i was arrested for the credit card theft and fraud after appling for my work permit but havent been covicted yet.
so will there be any delay in my work permit approval, will they hold it for longer time till my case gets solved???
all my friends got their workpermit those who applied with me.

what will happen to my case??

Your work permit cannot be approved while you have pending charges. I don't know if CIC will hold your application or simply refuse it. Were you charged within Canada or outside of Canada?

I hope you are working with a good lawyer - you want to get the charges dropped.
