Hi everyone,

My wife has received CoPR in India and will be travelling to Canada for her landing. She also has a work permit in Canada from before she left for India. Will they ask for her work permit document during her PR landing? She has the visa stamp on her passport that accompanies the CoPR.

Thanks a lot!

No, they won't.

Thanks a lot, I got worried as she isn't carrying her work permit. We didn't think it would be needed as well but getting slightly anxious as the day comes closer :)
Once she lands as a PR, the work permit is void anyway. The only thing that CBSA would want to do with it is take it off her or manually mark it as void.

Thanks for your response. But it is fine if she doesn't have the document on her, right?
