Hi,
I am getting a lot of calls from immigration consultants for either a PR or work permit visa to move to Canada. They say I pay 70000rs. Upfront as a total fee for the work permit. Once they get a go ahead from the embassy, then they would schedule my interviews.
Please throw some light on the legitimate process for a work permit visa migration and if such consultants do really help or not.

Thank you,
Mahesh

These are all scams.

Thank you, what should I do if I want to get a job in Canada to move? What is the right procedure and contact?

It's next to impossible to secure a job as a foreign worker in Canada. If you wish to move there, you should focus on qualifying and applying to immigrate rather than looking for a job.

I understand. I am qualified to immigrate but I am looking for any job security before moving. Also, are there really enough vacancies as these consultants are stating?

Don't believe the consultants. Unless you have really rare qualifications it will be hard to get a job while abroad. Employers want to meet you in person to see if you will be a good fit for their organization. Employers usually want someone to start relatively soon so they would want someone already in Canada. If you have a family you can always move before them to secure employment.
