DEAR ALL,

I HAVE APPLIED FOR WORK PERMIT VISA FOR EDMONTON, ALBERTA

I HAD ALSO GOT POSITIVE LMO + A VALID EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FROM THE EMPLOYER IN ALBERTA.

AFTER 35 DAYS I GOT THE REFUSAL LETTER SAYING.

" YOU WERE NOT ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THAT YOU ADEQUATELY MEET THE JOB REQUIREMENT OF THE PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYMENT"

ANY SUGGESTION FROM EXPERTS WHAT STEP SHOULD I TAKE.

AND CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT WAS THE REASON BECAUSE I AM UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE ACTUAL REASON OF THIS THEORY.

We can't answer this question unless you provide more information. What was the job? What work experience do you have? What educational experience do you have?

A LMO usually has the employer's language and education requirements, licenses and certifications required, etc. At minimum you should include proof of these with your application. If you did not do this, the visa officer had no way of knowing.

Thanks for your replies scylla,SenoritaBella

My Educational Qualification is B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of Industrial Experience as a Assist. Shift Engineer ( Production-Maintenance).

Post offered by my Employer according to my job offer letter and LMO was "Supervisor,Inventory Clerk" whose educational Requirement was Secondary School only.

Thanks & Regards

So did you submit only your secondary school diploma? If you included your B.Tech degree too, that probably showed the visa officer that you are overqualified.

@SenoritaBella

you may be Right but i have to show my B.Tech Otherwise how to cover the time from my secondary school till now. (almost 4 Years)

I have to show them what i was doing in the mean time after completing my secondary school , that is also a mess to cover the Gap.

and Secondly i have sent all my documents to my employer in Canada, may be they Used my documents for Getting my LMO... so any difference in the Statement Can cause any Trouble.

Thanks

To clarify, I was not suggesting that you misrepresent yourself. You did not say whether or not you applied from inside or outside Canada. It is now clear from your last comment, that you applied from outside Canada and here's the checklist: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5488E.PDF

You have to provide proof of meeting job requirements. Do you have previous experience as an inventory clerk? If not, that's probably the reason for rejection. You can also try to find jobs related to engineering since you have a degree and 2 yrs experience in that field.

OK THANKS BUT IT IS REALLY DIFFICULT TO FIND A JOB OFFER IN CANADA.BUT I WILL TRY..

CAN YOU TELL ME,, WILL MY VISA REFUSAL AFFECT ON MY FUTURE APPLICATIONS ALSO... AND ABOUT HOW MUCH TIME I SHOULD APPLY...?

THANKS
