So I received a job offer (YIPPEE) and they want me to start pretty soon. That translates to a work permit. What information will I need from my work permit for the Permanent Resident Express Entry process? If you've been through this process, please share your experience?

Thanks in advance!

Congrats on the job!

Have you done an EE profile to see if you are eligible for one of the programs? This is the first process in order to get an ITA. Once you have entered the pool, then you can start gathering all your docs in preparation.

Some basics you will need are a PCC from each country you have lived in for more than 6 months since you were 18 or in the last 10 years, employment letters from your previous jobs (if you wish to claim points for them), CELPIP or equivalent, up front medical done by one of the government approved physicians (you'll find a list on the CIC website). That's the basics but additional info maybe needed depending on which program you are applying thro. Hope this helps.
