Work Permit through Intra- Company Transfer

I am coming to Canada on Business visitor visa and my family is on Tourism visa.
I am applying for Work permit (intra-company transfer). Can anyone know how much time does it take to get closed work permit for me and open work permit for my wife ??

It's hard to estimate. Plan on at least a few months.

While in Canada on the Business visitor visa, make sure you only engage in the business activities allowed on this visa. Be careful not to start actually working in Canada. You won't be allowed to do this until the ICT is approved.

If the priority is the ICT, your case will be stronger if you apply for the ICT from your home country and don't travel to Canada until the ICT is approved.
