A friend of mine holds an Australian passport and is visiting Canada right now. They are a self-employed international consultant/coach and would like to hold classes here in Canada with the course fees being remitted to overseas accounts.
They have been admitted into Canada as a visitor and would like to know if they would need a work permit in order to hold their classes in Canada in order for all legal requirements to be met. Or, is there another type of business visa that may be required in order for this to be completely legal for them. Or, if they would need a visa in order to do so and can conduct these classes as a visitor.
I would really appreciate anybody shedding some light over this issue.
