Work Permit Refusal

Hello, I applied for my work permit in June after graduating in April, 2023, my application got refused because Ircc did bot receive my Biometrics that I submitted at service Canada.
Later, found out there must have been a glitch or something like that so it did not scan my passport correctly. Then gave another biometrics.
Now, with help from a representative from MP’s office my file is reopened but I still don’t know how much time it might take for them to make a final decision. I stopped work in October. My employer just terminated my employment a week ago and have said that they will take me back when I get my permit, but I don’t know there are a lot of other people looking for jobs. Is there any way I can get work authorization Asap, its effecting my job and daily life severely.

When was file reopened? Look at processing and use that as a benchmark. All you can do is wait.

Did you qualify for PGWP?

Yes, all the things are right. Applied within 180 days. Correct school (Sheridan), Correct program Full Time (Mech. Tech -Tool Making 2 years). No additional breaks other than the official one.
